Glory in the Highest

All the earth will sing Your praise
The moon the stars, the sun and rain
And every nation will proclaim
That You are God, and You will ransom
Glory, Glory Hallelujah
Glory, Glory to You Lord
Glory, Glory Hallelujah
Hallelujah!

The 'Holy Alphabet'

My mom likes to e-mail me all these forwards, and every once and a while there is one that I really like. This one looks like she had printed out for me a long time ago and stuck it on my bulliten board. I had overlooked it, until now...

"Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
Joy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of "Camp Complaining"
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem that time at hand
Start every day with worship
To "thank" is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We'll run the race with gratitude
Xalting God most high
Yes, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but
Zion waits in glory, where none are ever sad!"

His Peace, True Peace

"We can say, “How, Lord,” and even “Why, Lord,” but not “Never, Lord!” Because if He is truly Lord, the only proper thing to say is 'Yes, Lord.'"
--Greg Laurie
I love this quote.

Right now, I keep reminding myself of this.
Reminding myself daily of John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

The message today that Pastor Bob Botsford gave today, just reminded me to keep embracing this change that is going on in my life. Continuing to completely give it all to Him and trust fully in our marvelous King.

"Our prayers are God's opportunities."
