the way God can speak to you through anything and everything. Tonight, He totally revealed Himself to me through a few verses that my friend had encouraged me with. They happened to have been a few of my favorite scriptures, so I wanted to revist and just meditate upon them. Definately were shown to me in a new light, and taken as such a deep impact and is such a total blessing. Glory to God!
"I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in thee Lord, the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Psalms 34:1-4

Phillipians 4:11
Here was an excerpt from "Streams In The Desert" from yesterday that just really hit close to home for me right now and just helped restore my peace in some situations.
Scripture: I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
Commentary:People who are God's without reservation "have learned to be content whatever the circumstances." His will becomes their will, and they desire to do for Him whatever He desires them to do. They strip themselves of everything, and in their nakedness before Him, find everything is restored a hundredfold.
How amazing is that? God is good!!!
This was also a little incerpt they had for the day,
"Others may do a greater work, But you have your part to do; And no one in all God's family Can do it as well as you."

Glory in the Highest
All the earth will sing Your praise
The moon the stars, the sun and rain
And every nation will proclaim
That You are God, and You will ransom
Glory, Glory Hallelujah
Glory, Glory to You Lord
Glory, Glory Hallelujah
Hallelujah!
The moon the stars, the sun and rain
And every nation will proclaim
That You are God, and You will ransom

Glory, Glory to You Lord
Glory, Glory Hallelujah
Hallelujah!

The 'Holy Alphabet'
My mom likes to e-mail me all these forwards, and every once and a while there is one that I really like. This one looks like she had printed out for me a long time ago and stuck it on my bulliten board. I had overlooked it, until now...
"Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
Joy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of "Camp Complaining"
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem that time at hand
Start every day with worship
To "thank" is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We'll run the race with gratitude
Xalting God most high
Yes, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but
Zion waits in glory, where none are ever sad!"

His Peace, True Peace
"We can say, “How, Lord,” and even “Why, Lord,” but not “Never, Lord!” Because if He is truly Lord, the only proper thing to say is 'Yes, Lord.'"
--Greg Laurie
I love this quote.
Right now, I keep reminding myself of this.
Reminding myself daily of John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
The message today that Pastor Bob Botsford gave today, just reminded me to keep embracing this change that is going on in my life. Continuing to completely give it all to Him and trust fully in our marvelous King.
"Our prayers are God's opportunities."

God as Lover
Book: Captivating
Author: John and Stasi Eldredge
Section: Romanced
"God has written the Romance not only on our hearts but all over the world around us. What we need is for Him to open our eyes, to open our ears that we might recognize his voice calling to us, see his hand wooing us in the beauty that quickens our hearts.

Longer than there've been fishes in the ocean
Higher than any bird ever flew
Longer than there've been stars up in the heavens
I've been in love with you.
Stronger than any mountain cathedral
Truer than any tree ever grew
Deeper than any forest primeval
I am in love with you.
-Dan Fogelberg, 'Longer'"
This is such a good thing to always remind ourselves of. When I read it tonight, it gave me the goosebumps and a big huge smile (one of those ones that couldn't get any bigger). Just to remember how much He loves us, nothing can ever surpass it or take its place!!! Who else would send their only son to endure their own wrath; not for himself, but all for us wreched unworthy sinners, so that we may be seen as perfect in the eyes of our Father? No one! It's that simple. 'There is no one like Him and there will never be anyone like Him....'
